Songs - Part 3

Continuing on with the theme, though I may add something else at the end about stuff that has happened, see how I feel.

13 - A Song That is a Guilty Pleasure:

Laaaaaa-lalalalala. Etc.

14 - A Song That No-One Would Expect You To Love:

Bet you didn't expect that, eh?

15 - A Song That Describes You:

The selection of the song, rather than the song itself, tells you everything you need to know about me.

16 - A Song That You Used to Love But Now Hate:

I liked when I had the album and it hadn't yet been released as a single. Now, not so much.

17 - A Song That You Hear Often On the Radio:

My first thought upon seeing this video was; 'Why is Sayid singing and playing piano?'

18 - A Song That You Wish You Heard On the Radio:

I need to explain why?

In other news, I went to Glasgow. The weather was annoyingly sunny whilst on the train and expectedly terrible off it. I have decided to move to Croy at some point (for obvious reasons) and I hope you enjoy it next year when one man wins the Miami Masters 1000 and then breaks the Undertaker's streak on the same day, before promoting his conceptual album of Punctual Jazz and new sandwich shop based near the SECC, 'Hutton's Buns'.

It was eventful over the weekend. That is all.

Laughing time is over.

More songage

I'm well aware 'a day or so' in nearly a week, but so what?

07 - A Song That Reminds You of a Certain Event:

Download 2007, though this clearly wasn't taken there.

08 - A Song That You Know All the Words To:

It's just awesome.

09 - A Song That You Can Dance To:

Stretching 'dance' to the maximum, but nothing makes me move as much.

10 - A Song That Makes You Fall Asleep:

I'm aware of the oddity of the choice, but for some reason, I just feel relaxed listening to this, don't ask why.

11 - A Song From Your Favourite Band:

No brainer about the band. Song took more thought.

12 - A Song By a Band You Hate:

I can't even put into words my hatred for these. Or the song.

Next, maybe in a few days, maybe no.

I can be a bit of an idiot sometimes

The reason for it being a month since last typage; I forgot what website this was on. Seriously.

Also, this is purely to do that 30 day song challenge thing, which I will never remember to for 30 days, so I'll do it in chunks on here instead. It's cheating, but who cares?

01 - Your Favourite Song:

Pretty self-explanatory I think.

02 - Your Least Favourite Song:

Ear-rape. Pure and simple.

03 - A Song That Makes You Happy

I can't explain why it cheers me up, it's not a cheery song, but there you go.

04 - A Song That Makes You Sad:

If you don't feel a bit sad listening to this, you have no soul :)

05 - A Song That Reminds You of Someone:

The person doesn't matter to you :P

06 - A Song That Reminds You of Somewhere:

Northern Ireland inc. 'The Batcave'. If you know, you know.

I'll do more in a day or so, okay?

First time update

Okay, so not a lot has happened that actually matters, but who cares about that, I've reasonably enjoyed the last amount of time since I was typing furiously last time. And by furiously, I do not mean in anger, I just like to hit the keys really hard for no good reason at all; don't judge me.

If you're interested, Werewolf in a Women's Prison is a really terrible film. But it managed to entertain me with huge amounts of bad fake blood and a fat guy with a dodgy 'tache called Badger. Don't ask why I decided to watch it, it just seemed like a good idea at the time, and it was fairly late when I did.

On the other hand, do buy Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, it is all kinds of awesomeness. I don't know who half the characters are, but that doesn't matter, cos you get to be Wesker and do some crazy flying combos. And then get killed by a little ginger bloke. It's still fun though, even if it does make my hands ache after a bit and I can't do most of the combos it wants you to.

In other news, after about nine months attending a quiz, I finally ended up on the winning team, though some of the joy was removed when I realised I'd contributed about 4 answers over the course of the entire night, but since it was a 2 point victory, that's pretty good. Still waiting on getting my prize thanks to people not coming round when they say they will, though I suspect I should be used to that by now :P

In other news, my sleeping pattern is largely analogous to that of a bat, or owl, or pretty much any other nocturnal animal you may care to think of. This is what happens when there is just one night that I can't actually manage to get to sleep on for no particular reason and leads to a catastrophic chain of sleeplessness that culminates in me now not getting tired until about 6 in the morning. This is possibly the only time I am thankful I don't have a job.

There was also a games night, where I actually failed to embarrass myself despite fully expecting to. This was largely due to the fact the two games I did well in involved having other people on my team, in the case of Halo, these people being exponentially better than me. Case in point being my contribution of 6 kills in a team score of almost fifty for three people.

Onto the music scene, and if you take nothing else away from this (which is highly likely) please find the time to 'acquire' Christopher Lee's symphonic metal concept album. It's called by The Sword and the Cross and is about King Charlemagne I of France. On his deathbed he recounts most of the extremely bloody battles he fought to keep foreigners in check. Sir Christopher Lee voices him, and some mystery woman that I have not bothered to investigate does a sufficiently cheesy narration. The music, but plays second fiddle (pun intended) to things like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTrC8tY-mto

It's fricking awesome right, buy it.

Well, that seems sufficient for now, I am off to watch SS Hell Camp (seriously) and not sleep again.

Stay classy San Diego.

P.S. Also, I remembered something else. The BRITs. Several things annoyed me about them; 1 'Tinie Tempah' is in no way a good musician, he is the epitome of the shit sloshing about in the toilet that is the charts, 2 James Corden 3 How can a band that has released five albums in the last ten years be nominated for best breakthrough? (The National) and 4 Why give Justin Beiber an award? He's a kid who will probably not sound anything like that in a couple of years. And he's a proper little retard as well who thinks being gay is, and I quote, 'a choice'. If I ever see him in real life, he will disappear and be damned the consequences. On the other side, Laura Marling won, so that made up for it all.

P.P.S. Dark Toblerone - not that nice :(

Beginning with boredom

So, just for something to do now and then, I've decided to start composing from the stupidity/randomness/quirkiness that sploshes around my skull ALL THE TIME. Whether anyone will read this is inconsequential. Ish. Plus, I just watched the BAFTAs, is the King's Speech really that good? And how long until Christopher Lee kicks it, he looked proper ill?

I digress. Actually no, I didn't have a point in the first place. Anyway, expect regularly irregular updates on various things, possibly including me reviewing random stuff, which will appear here over the next arbitrarily determined period of time. Maybe a week. See how long till I grow bored.

Happy hunting.

PS. It has not escaped my attention that it is Valentine's Day tomorrow, and thus I shall not be going out anywhere for the entire day, in case I should happen to run into anyone. I hate the colour pink.
